Calls sometimes asking for my first name or just hangs up when I answer. It is very annoying and don't know what they want or who they are. My caller ID says the name of the caller is Dr.

I've read several websites stating that these calls are possibly a really big scam. I don't have credit cards with any of the banks they said, and the credit cards I do have are paid off on time.

Only silence on other end of line. Then suddenly hung up.

Phone rang, I answered, they hung up.

Annoying calls will not stop. Keep calling. Very annoying Telemarketing tactics.

Here's the deal with this number. I have gotten about ten calls from it in the last week. Every time I awnsered them no one was on the other line. Today I awnsered it and there was actually someone on the line saying they were informed I was looking for colleges. Obviously the line they use is like a mass dialer and who ever the lucky one to pick up first gets to talk to the rep and inform them their not interested, this will have your number removed.
